Spiced Ginger Tea for Cold

  • 200 ml of water
  • 1 small piece of ginger about 2cm thick
  • 6-7 cloves
  • 1 fresh rosemary sprig or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon tea or 1 tea bag
  • Honey for sweetening


  • Put a pan with the water on medium heat.
  • While the water is heated, in a mortar coarsely grind the ginger and set aside.
  • When the water is boiling, add the ginger, cloves, and rosemary. Let everything boil together for two-three minutes so that they release all their essence and healing property.
  • Then add tea and boil it for 1 minute. Strain into a cup, add honey and enjoy!


Tips and tricks:

  • If you like the flavour of cardamom, you can add it.
