Paneer Tikka

Paneer Tikka is a North Indian dish made with Indian cottage cheese. The restaurant-style Paneer Tikka is one of the most popular vegetarian appetizers where the chunks of Paneer are marinated with spices and yoghurt so that they absorb all the flavours. Onion and capsicum are also added to the marination. Then they are skewered up and grilled in Tandoor to give them a nice smoky flavour. Usually served with cilantro and mint chutney, salad, and lemon wedges.

Today I am going to prepare my Paneer Tikka on a grill pan. It is the quickest and easiest way to make Paneer Tikka. It doesn’t have the smoky flavour of Tandoor, but it is delicious and flavourful👌

Usually, I do not like to add too many spices to my paneer tikka. I want to make it simple and easy. You can add more spices such as garam masala, cumin powder etc. if you wish.

You can also use Tofu instead of Paneer and soy yoghurt if you are looking for a vegan option.
