Welcome to Spiceandcolour. Welcome to India, a country full of colour, traditions, legends and exotic flavours. It's a vast land with a rich culinary tradition. Foreign invasions have also had a clear influence on Indian gastronomy and have enriched it more.
Here you will find recipes for starters, vegetarian and meat dishes. These are homemade recipes that I have learned from my mother, my aunt and my grandmother. I have prepared the recipes in a very simple way, step by step, explaining which spices correspond to each dish. You will discover a way to play with the spices to prepare dishes with exotic flavours, from the most delicate to the strongest.
I have also prepared a guide about spices for you to get familiar with this world. And that is very important when preparing Indian dishes since spices are the mainstay of Indian cuisine.
