I love lemon tea, especially for the winter season. It is also perfect if you’ve got a cold.
In our country, tea with lemon is usually made with black tea. Black tea is rich in antioxidants and has a deep flavour that goes very well with lemon. We call it Lebu Chá. Chá is tea, and Lebu is lemon.
In Calcutta (West Bengal) there is a very popular version of Lebu chá that is served in street stalls. They make it with black tea and lemon. Besides, they add Himalayan black salt and ginger powder which gives it a unique taste.
But today I am going to prepare my lemon tea using only black tea and lemon.
