Mint Chutney

Today I bring you another recipe for mint chutney. This time I use fresh green chilli to make it extra spicy. Green chilli combines very well with fresh mint leaves. Also, add peanut to give it creaminess.

This delicious and flavourful chutney is ideal to serve with Paneer Tikka, Paneer Biryani or with any kind of vegetarian dishes.

  Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaf
  • 10-12 sprigs of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 30g roasted peanuts
  • 2-3 green chillies (approximately)
  • 3 tablespoons plain yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste.

 

Instructions

-In a frying pan, lightly toast the cumin seeds and set them aside.

-Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a smooth and creamy chutney.

-Serve this delicious chutney with Paneer Tikka or Paneer Biryani.
