Raita is a very typical Indian sauce, prepared with yoghurt and some condiments such as black salt, pepper, cumin or Chat Masala. You may also find Raitas where are added fine herbs such as mint leaves or fresh cilantro, as well as finely chopped vegetables like cucumber, onion or tomato. There are Raitas even with fruits such as pineapple or mango.
It is ideal for serving with any Biryani dishes or skewers. But I love to serve them with my Indian appetizers. Today I bring you two versions of Raita, very easy to prepare and so delicious.
